Scholastic Assessment Test

SAT ( Scholastic Assessment Test ), is sponsored by College Board, and SAT grade is an important reference for senior high school student in counties around the world applying for American famous colleges.

SAT aims to survey necessary reading and writing competences during colleges stage. CB reported, SAT investigates abilities of application-analysis and solving problems on putting learning knowledges in schools into practices, and these knowledge is key in colleges.

SAT includes three subjects: Critical Reading, Mathematics and Writing.

Critical Reading includes: Sentence Completion, Passage-Based Reading.

Mathematics includes: Multiple-choice Items, Blank Items.

Writing includes: Composition, Improving Sentences, Identifying Sentence Error, Improving Passage The SAT offered seven times each year in the U.S. And six times internationally. It is also offered in October, November, December, January, March ( U.S. Only; SAT only), May and June.

Most students take the SAT during their junior or senior year in high school. At least half of all students take the SAT twice-in the spring of their junior year and in the fall of their senior year. Most students also improve their score the second time around.

SAT also provides a platform for applicants to show specialties in some subjects.
